SEC Network sets date for Mizzou's channel takeover
Some of the best Mizzou athletics over the last year will be broadcast on the SEC Network channel throughout the entire day.
Mizzou football players beat the war drum to celebrate their win over Kansas on Sept. 6 at Memorial Stadium in Columbia. The Tigers' win will be broadcast again on the SEC Network as part of a day of programming dedicated to the Tigers.
Highlights from Mizzou’s best moments across several sports in 2025-26 will take over the SEC Network on July 12, the Southeastern Conference announced Monday.
The two highlights of the Tigers’ day of programming will be the football team’s Border War victory over archrival Kansas in Week 2 of the 2025 season and the gymnastics squad’s win over Florida on Feb. 6. The gymnastics victory will air at 2:30 p.m., while the football win will air at 8 p.m.
The Tigers’ win over Kansas was the first meeting on the football field between the two rivals since 2011 Missouri’s win over the Gators, then-ranked No. 2 in the country, is the program’s highest-ranked victory ever.
Other games and programming featuring the Tigers will be broadcast on the channel throughout the entire day.
