OL Brandon Anderson no longer with Mizzou football program

Incoming freshman Brandon Anderson is no longer a part of the Mizzou football team, a development first reported by PowerMizzou.
He is no longer listed on the team’s roster page.
It’s not known why Anderson would no longer be on the team. He signed with the program Dec. 3, later enrolling at the university in time for the spring semester Jan. 20. Mizzou football is still tagged in his Instagram header.
The interior offensive lineman first committed to Mizzou back in June 2025 as a three-star prospect. He was originally committed to Tennessee before decommitting in January 2025. Anderson held offers from several other SEC programs, including LSU, Alabama and Georgia.
Anderson is listed at 6-foot-3, 340 pounds and is from Kennesaw, Georgia. He was ranked as the No. 35 interior offensive lineman in the nation and No. 50 overall prospect in Georgia by 247Sports.
The Mizzou roster is down to 17 offensive lineman for the 2026 season, including four members in the 2026 recruiting class, leaving plenty of other options on the line moving forward for Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz and offensive line coach Brandon Jones.
