Mizzou wrestling adds Everett Joyce to 2026 recruiting class following reclassification
Mizzou wrestling announced the signing of Wichita, Kansas, native Everett Joyce, who was originally a commit in the 2027 recruiting class, but reclassified following new NCAA eligibility rules.
Everett Joyce poses as the newest recruit of Mizzou wrestling’s 2026 class. Mizzou announced the signing of the Wichita, Kan., product Thursday. Joyce, a two-time Kansas state champion who reclassified from the Class of 2027, is the eighth member of MU’s 2026 recruiting class.
Mizzou wrestling coach Brian Smith announced the signing of Everett Joyce on Thursday. Joyce was originally a commit in the 2027 recruiting class out of Wichita, Kansas, but reclassified following new NCAA eligibility rules.
Joyce comes to Missouri with a record of 100-4 at Maize High School. As a two-time state champion, Joyce previously was the 88th overall prospect and eighth at 190 pounds on MatScout’s 2027 Big Board.
“I chose Tiger Style because their values create champions on the mat and champions in life,” Joyce said in a news release.
The addition brings Mizzou’s 2026 recruiting class up to eight, as Joyce joins Jason Hampton, Demetri Carrera, Zion Borge, Brady Collins, Trey Craig, Cash Cooley and Yandel Morales.
