Mizzou volleyball head coach Dawn Sullivan cheers after a successful play Oct. 26 at the Hearnes Center in Columbia. The Tigers will host a Black and Gold scrimmage at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hearnes Center.

The Mizzou volleyball team announced the Black & Gold Scrimmage will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday. The match is preceded by a youth clinic. Admission to both events is free.

This marks the first preseason event of the Tigers’ 2026 season. Mizzou has held a Black & Gold Scrimmage to open the year dating back to 2014 in all non-COVID shortened seasons. Doors to the event will be open starting at noon.

The youth clinic begins with check-in starting at 10 a.m. The clinic is open to all kids currently enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Fans in attendance will receive promotional items including posters and magnets featuring the team’s schedule while supplies last. The team will be available for autographs following the scrimmage.

The Tigers will follow the event with their first exhibition showdown against Drake on Saturday, Aug. 15. Mizzou’s schedule includes 27 regular-season matches starting with the Mizzou Invitational that runs Aug. 28 and 29.
