The centennial celebrations for Memorial Stadium continue, this time with the announcement of new throwback uniforms via the Mizzou football X account. The Tigers will wear the new threads during the 100th Anniversary game against Troy on Sept. 19.

They include a black helmet featuring a white Block M decal on both sides. The helmet has a gray facemask with a picture of the columns on the front bumper.

Mizzou will wear a black top with white numbers across the front and back. Instead of spelling out “Missouri” or “Mizzou,” the jersey features a simple “M,” similar to uniforms the team wore for most of the 20th century.

Perhaps the most distinctive part of the uniforms is the pants, bathed in the Tigers’ old shade of gold before it was changed in the 21st century. This shade is present throughout the uniform, including on a stripe down the middle of the helmet and on each of the shoulders.

“These are the sickest throwbacks I’ve ever seen,” former Mizzou quarterback Chase Daniel posted on his X account.

Merchandise based on the new design is available for purchase online and will be sold in the new Tiger Team Store in Memorial Stadium when it opens.

Kickoff against the Trojans is set for 11:45 a.m. and is available to stream via SEC Network+.

Four Tigers land on Senior Bowl Top 300

The Senior Bowl released its preseason Top 300, identifying the top talent in college football with serious NFL potential. The Mizzou contingent included running backs Ahmad Hardy and Jamal Roberts, tight end Brett Norfleet and offensive tackle Cayden Green.

The list excludes long snapper Brett Le Blanc and linebacker Robert Woodyard Jr., who were both named to the SEC’s preseason all-conference team voted on by the league’s head coaches.

The Senior Bowl has been held annually since 1950, starting in Jacksonville, Florida, and then moving to Mobile, Alabama, in its second year. The event hosts 100-plus top collegiate football players ahead of the NFL Draft. The Tigers sent three players to the event last season, including defensive end Zion Young, defensive tackle Chris McClellan and wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. All three former Tigers were taken in the first five rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft.

This year’s Senior Bowl will be held on Jan. 30, 2027, at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile.
