Mizzou men's golf will have three players competing in the U.S. Amateur for the first time since 2006.

Brock Snyder, Trent Mierl and Veikka Viskari all qualified for the championship following strong performances this month.

Snyder was the first Tiger to qualify, placing second with a 4-under 68 on July 13 at Dacotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton, Minnesota.

Mierl earned a spot at Rivermont Golf Club on Monday in Johns Creek, Georgia, posting a 2-under 68 to finish one stroke above the cut.

Viskari earned the final spot Wednesday with his finish at Aurora Country Club in Aurora, Illinois. Visarki finished in a three-way tie for sixth place with a 3-under 69.

In 2006, Mizzou's John Kelly finished as the runner-up and Peter Malnati qualified for stroke play rounds.

The 2026 U.S. Amateur Golf Championship starts August 10 and runs through August 16 at the Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
