A pair of Mizzou athletes made a splash at the 2026 USA Diving Championships on Monday in Morgantown, West Virginia.

National champion Collier Dyer (unattached) and Tanner Braunton (unattached) took home third place in the 3-meter synchronized diving event. The pair finished behind Jack Ryan (Stanford Diving) and Quinn Henniger (Johansen Diving Academy) who won their third national title together, scoring 827.82 points in their three lists — 135.15 points more than Dyer and Braunton's 692.67.

Dyer also finished seventh in the 3-meter springboard event, one spot in front of Braunton. Braunton logged another top-10 finish, placing eighth in the 1-meter springboard event.

The 2026 rendition of the USA Diving National Championships concludes Tuesday with the men's 10-meter synchronized diving and women's 3-meter synchronized diving.
