Truman the Tiger leads the Missouri student section as MU takes on Alabama on Oct. 11, 2025, at Memorial Stadium in Columbia. Mizzou Athletics announced Friday that students section options for the 2026 season will include the redone hill along with Sections 107 through 110, 314 and 315. MU football starts its season Sept. 3.

Mizzou Athletics sent an email to students Friday outlining the student seating options available for Mizzou football home games in the 2026 season.

Student seating at Memorial Stadium was limited in 2025 because of construction on the north end zone that will be completed ahead of the 2026 season.

Most notably, the construction removed the iconic hill. The Rock “M” and grass-covered hill previously sat students, along with other fans. The construction included a new hill that will now include general admission seating for around 2,600 fans, a reduction from the previous hill. According to the email, a majority of those spots will be reserved for students.

In order to gain entrance to the hill, students will need to get a wristband after entering the stadium.

Additionally, the student seating options will expand to include Sections 314 and 315. The previous student seating options of Sections 107-110 will also remain.

In April, Mizzou Athletics announced a new student-ticket model that includes loyalty points that students earn based on their seniority and by attending games. Students will have a 72-hour window to put in requests for football game tickets, with tickets then being granted to those with the highest ranking of loyalty points.
