Mizzou Athletics’ NIL agency, Every True Tiger Brands, announced Wednesday a new partnership with GenTeal Apparel that allows Mizzou fans to represent their school while offering its student-athletes branding opportunities.

Among the items GenTeal is offering are co-branded quarterzips, polos, vests and hoodies, each of which has the Every True Tiger logo. Thirty percent of each sale will be returned to Every True Tiger to help Mizzou student-athletes with NIL deals.

“GenTeal has built an outstanding brand that blends quality, comfort and style in a way that resonates strongly within collegiate athletics and lifestyle markets,” Every True Tiger Brands CEO Mario Moccia said in a press release. “This partnership creates exciting opportunities to enhance the supporter experience while continuing to grow meaningful branding opportunities for student-athletes.”

Moccia was officially announced as CEO of Every True Tiger Brands on March 5, replacing Brad Larrondo in the role and marking his return to Columbia after previously serving as deputy athletic director from 1998-2006. Since his return to Mizzou, Every True Tiger Brands has also reached a partnership with Omaha Steaks in which 10% of the cost goes directly to Mizzou Athletics.

Even before Moccia's arrival, the brand was seeing success in NIL partnerships with student-athletes. Tamar Bates, Noah Carter, Kristian Williams and more were showcased on flavors of coffee bean packets, while others like Cayden Green and Brett Norfleet were on candy mixes, all of which were sold at Schnucks.

The newly announced deal with GenTeal is the latest step toward success in the department.

“As a lifelong Mizzou fan, the partnership with Every True Tiger is especially meaningful to me,” GenTeal Apparel co-founder Blake Dubinski said. “I am particularly excited about the future of Mizzou athletics and the vision, investment and leadership that continue to elevate the university’s profile nationally. We look forward to building a long-term partnership that delivers meaningful value to Tiger fans, student-athletes and the university.”

As the presence of NIL continues to grow throughout college sports, the importance of Every True Tiger strengthens.

“I don’t see why there’s a school we can’t compete against,” Moccia said in an interview with KOMU 8 in May. “We’re all about putting our best foot forward, and let’s go compete with the big boys.”
