The outbreak was tied to iceberg lettuce sold at restaurants and some grocery stores. The FDA said more than 9,400 people became ill and nearly 400 were hospitalized.
Two people's deaths have been linked to the outbreak so far, according to public officials. The FDA also said it believed all recalled lettuce connected to the outbreak was off the market.
