SPOKANE, Wash. - Donations for firefighters on the Spokane Area Fires are being accepted at Station 16, located at 5225 N Assembly. 

Organizers are recognizing those fighting the fires, many of whom have been on the lines up to 20 hours. 

Suggested donations include:

  • socks

  • deodorant

  • chap stick

  • eye drops

  • electrolyte drinks or mix to put in water bottles

  • protein/granola bars

  • beef jerky

  • trail mix 

  • protein shakes

  • baby wipes

  • sun screen

Many homes are still in level 3 evacuation zones while firefighters continue work on the fire sparked over the weekend. 

You can also donate to help those who are rebuilding after these fires through Innovia’s Spokane Complex Wildfire Response Fund or the American Red Cross’ Spokane wildfire relief fund
