STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sōvyn, an internationally recognized health tech and life sciences communications agency, today announced the appointment of Aneesh Chopra to its advisory board. The appointment comes during a year of significant growth for the company. In June, Sōvyn acquired the Canadian digital agency Roketto to expand its capabilities in generative engine optimization (GEO), digital strategy, automation, and web design.

As part of the acquisition, Sōvyn, which was founded in 1998 as KNB Communications, launched a new name and brand identity. In August, the agency promoted Beth Cooper, JD-MBA, who led the creative development behind the rebrand, to Chief Commercial Officer.
Chintan Shah, President & CEO of Sōvyn, said Chopra's appointment is the agency's next major milestone. "Aneesh brings a rare combination of healthcare, technology, policy, and business expertise to Sōvyn," he said. "As we enter our next phase of growth, his perspective and relationships across the health technology ecosystem will be invaluable, allowing us to further expand our capabilities and help clients navigate an increasingly complex communications landscape."
During his tenure as the nation's first Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Chopra designed the National Wireless Initiative, helped launch Startup America, and executed an "open innovation" strategy across the government, which aimed to strengthen data sharing with the private sector. After leaving the White House, Mr. Chopra cofounded CareJourney, a healthcare analytics platform later acquired by Arcadia.
As an advisor to Sōvyn, Chopra will provide strategic guidance on industry opportunities and the agency's continued growth, while leveraging his expertise and relationships across healthcare, technology, and policy.
"As AI changes how patients, providers, investors, and other stakeholders find and evaluate information, communications strategy has to evolve with it," Chopra noted. "Sōvyn understands that shift and is building the capabilities to help health tech and life sciences companies remain visible and credible in this new environment."
Shah went on to say that Chopra's appointment further strengthens Sōvyn's ability to help healthcare, life sciences, and technology companies navigate the intersection of communications, technology, and an increasingly GEO-driven information landscape.
