ST. LOUIS, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Brown & Crouppen has recovered more than $2 billion for its clients since the firm was founded in 1979, the personal injury law firm announced today. The milestone places Brown & Crouppen among a small number of personal injury firms nationwide that have publicly reported recoveries at that level. It marks almost five decades in which the firm has paired courtroom advocacy with sustained investment in the communities it serves.
Nearly Five Decades of Advocacy
Ron Brown and Terry Crouppen founded the firm in St. Louis in 1979 with a mission to represent people injured by the negligence of others. Forty-seven years later, Brown & Crouppen has grown into one of the Midwest's largest personal injury practices, with 40 attorneys and 220 legal professionals across nine offices in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois. Through that growth, the firm has remained grounded in the same principles of advocacy, service, and commitment to clients and communities that have guided it since its founding.

Since 2015, Brown & Crouppen has supported Gateway 180 and its efforts to provide emergency shelter and housing stability for St. Louis families, while also donating meal kits through Operation Food Search to help provide food and essential resources to families across Missouri and Illinois.
