PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2026 CEE Integrated Home Competition, a high-performance connected product contest, awarded five innovative products at the annual CEE Industry Partners Meeting. Award recipients embody the four tenets of the CEE Integrated Home Vision: energy efficiency, demand flexibility, consumer amenity, and security.

The Integrated Home Competition is organized by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE), which brings together US and Canadian energy efficiency program administrators to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge energy efficiency and load management solutions. The 2026 entries were assessed by a Judging Panel of individuals with expertise in energy efficiency, load flexibility, program administration, usability, interoperability, product installation, technology performance, and sales. The judges evaluated each of the final 26 electric and natural gas products based on usability, interoperability, and technological demonstration.

John Taylor, CEE Executive Director, praised the 2026 awardees for their innovation, stating that these products "represent important advances in energy efficiency and connectivity while continuing to prioritize customer comfort." He added that "the winning products not only accelerate progress towards decarbonization and efficiency goals, but also thoughtfully address critical issues like affordability and accessibility."

Award recipients were invited to speak to CEE membership at the annual CEE Industry Partners Meeting in Portland, Oregon. The winning products will be showcased on the Integrated Home Competition website and at relevant trade shows and industry events, endorsed through publications and social media channels, and promoted by select CEE member energy efficiency program administrators through local offerings.
