Holders Grove Baptist Church: is in revival with nightly services beginning at 7 p.m. The preachers will be the Rev. Steve Blanchard and the Rev. Bill Ogle. Everyone is welcome.

Northport Baptist Church: The East Tennessee Baptist Association will have its fall revival Sept. 27 through Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. nightly at Northport Baptist Church. Sunday’s minister will be Raile Childress, Monday’s minister will be Jon Walton, Tuesday’s minister will be John Rush and Wednesday’s minister will be Zane Stuart. Northport Baptist Church is located at 488 Duncan Street in Newport. A nursery will be provided. Everyone is welcome.

Rock of Ages Baptist Church: Rock of Ages Baptist Church at 420 West 13th North Street in Morristown will observe Homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 4, celebrating the church’s 146th anniversary. All former members and friends are welcome to attend. The Rev. Kenneth McKissack will preach during the 11 a.m. worship service. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. The Rev. Preston Thompson will preach during the 3 p.m. Homecoming service. The Rev. Dr. William P. Butler is the pastor. Comfortable attire, such as jeans, are encouraged.

Laurel Springs Christian Church: 4848 Hooper Highway, Cosby, will celebrate its 149th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 4, with a Back-to-Church/Homecoming celebration at 11 a.m. All former members and friends are invited to join in worship and a fellowship dinner.

Parrottsville United Methodist Church’s Clothes Closet: Open to everyone shopping for free clothes, shoes and small household items. Saturdays, 8-11 a.m. except holiday weekends. Clean, gently used items will be accepted while open.
