An East Rome man was arrested Friday for an incident on Aug. 19, when he choked a woman during an attack at a residence on Lyons Drive in West Rome, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Dravus Chaise Christian Dupree, 23, is charged with felony aggravated assault, false imprisonment and misdemeanor battery. He remained in jail without bond as of Monday.

Garden Lakes man charged with meth following wreck

A Garden Lakes man was arrested on meth charges Friday afternoon on Martha Berry Highway following a wreck, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Joseph Emery Baldwin, 40, is charged with felony possession of meth as well as driving an unregistered vehicle with a cracked windshield.

Atlanta pair charged with shoplifting

An Atlanta pair was arrested after being caught shoplifting $736.43 in goods from T.J. Maxx Saturday evening, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Arkeshia Denise Tigner, 33, and Jasmine Johnson, 32, are charged with felony theft by taking. Tigner is further charged with giving a false name and date of birth to law enforcement.

They are both held without bond as of Monday.

Police: Floyd County man claimed to be law enforcement officer during arrest

A Floyd County man claimed to be with the "Cherokee County Multi-Agency Task Force" during an accident investigation in the East Rome Walmart Sunday afternoon, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Randy Love, 63, is charged with felony impersonating a police officer as well as misdemeanor disorderly conduct and obstruction.

He remained in jail without bond as of Monday.
