Trudeau Airport runway ready for takeoff

An employee of the airport community was taken to hospital Monday evening following an accident involving an aircraft at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport.

Emergency response crews were deployed at YUL at approximately 7:30 p.m., according to Eric Forest, an advisor with the airport's media relations team.

Forest said the incident involved an aircraft and an employee of the airport community. "We are unable to provide further details at this time," Forest said in a statement.

Airport operations are continuing, although passengers are being encouraged to check the status of their flight directly with their airline.
